Indianola Hometown Pride is looking for new members! Will you join us?
Indianola Hometown Pride is a group of Indianola residents who love our town and are working to make it even better.
Our Mission
Bring neighbors together to build a sense of community, create and improve public amenities, and celebrate what makes our hometowns great.
Recent/Current projects
Indianola’s Iowa Great Places application and Vision Plan; yard-of-the-month awards; directory of local non-profit organizations; “random acts of kindness” initiative; volunteer fair with Simpson; “Warren County Strong” banner display on square
Future Projects
We recently completed a Vision Plan that was endorsed by more than 20 local organizations and the Indianola City Council. The plan outlines a variety of big projects for us to lead or assist with in the coming years, including: public art, a splash pad, and creating a campus-to-downtown corridor. We also welcome new ideas from our committee members at any time.
Reasons to join
- Work with a great team of people who love Indianola!
- Access to a powerful platform to help our community, since we have a state-wide network of support and the backing of our City government.
- Perfect opportunity to work on your “big idea” for Indianola – we are a volunteer-driven group and we want your ideas!
